A Little More About The Venue:

The Springwater has been known by many names over the years (including Norma's and Pirate's Den). It was opened in 1896, one year before the Parthenon right across the street in Centennial Park.

Countless world renowned artists have performed on this stage, including:

Townes Van Zandt, Willie Nelson, Guy Clark, David Olney, Justin Townes Earle, Miranda Lambert, Drive-By Truckers, Chris Gantry, The Black Keys, Dierks Bentley, Jack White, David Allan Coe, Jerry Jeff Walker, and Hank Williams, Jr.

Rumor has it that Al Capone and Jimmy Hoffa were known to frequent this place, songwriter Duffy Young spent many overnights on the pool table, and with the owner's blessing, Townes himself used to sleep in a van in the parking lot.

This place will not be around forever. This concert is about celebrating some of its history while we still can.
