Song A Week
Built around the heartbeat of each member writing and sharing one song every week, for 10 years the Song A Week community welcomed over 600 members around the world.
Over 10 years, nearly 300 artists from 30 states and over 20 countries contributed over 8,000 songs to our weekly lists, and group members toured the world with their original music.
The group was inspired by Bob Schneider's "Song Game", which was invitation-only. Schneider expressed his support and encouragement to Song A Week for keeping his idea going.
Before creating the group, I'd written 100 songs in 20 years. I felt stuck. I've since written over 1,000 more, several of which have been recorded by other artists.
