FOR MORE BACKGROUND:
I am doing a project where I write songs with the unhoused.
Every session is me, plus another songwriter, plus one person experiencing homelessness.
A bunch of other Nashville songwriters are getting involved, as of this writing I have 13 other writers on board.
The Nashville Rescue Mission has made us an official program!
GIBSON CONNECTION
Separately from the homeless songwriting project, I recently saved up and found an old Gibson B25 that I really like (January 2025).
When I first played it, something about the guitar told me: "play Keep It Loose, Keep It Tight". I had never played the song before!
It's my first Gibson acoustic, I've written a few new songs on it, played my first gig with it in February, and it really wants to be part of this.
